My chiropractic journey began in my early teens. As an avid sports enthusiast I was treated regularly by a chiropractor in my hometown of Chanute, KS. I never really understood what was happening during those visits at the time, however, I knew it helped my performance and I stayed healthy.
I attended Ottawa University on a basketball scholarship and was able to continue my sports passion. It was during a job the summer before my senior year that I suffered a back injury that propelled me into becoming a chiropractor. During my chiropractic visits, I began questioning what was really taking place during my treatments. I had always veered away from medications and discovered that chiropractic and my philosophy on health aligned. Upon graduating from OU in 2007, I enrolled at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. In 2010 I graduated and purchased a practice in Valley Falls, KS. In 2017, I became a trained and endorsed practitioner of The Chiropractic Hand & Foot Clinics of America (CHFA) focusing on adjusting extremities.
I met Dr. Swickard in 2019 at a CHFA seminar and decided to sell my practice and join the Swickard Chiropractic team. I want to change lives through chiropractic care and am excited to now be a part of Curis Functional Health. I met my wife Emily at OU. We live in Tonganoxie, KS and are the proud parents of an awesome son named Bryce.
In addition to spending time with my family I enjoy playing all sports, especially basketball and golf, as well as traveling with friends. I love to root for my favorite teams KU and the Royals and of course the Chiefs, where you will find me on most fall Sunday’s at Arrowhead Stadium as a season ticket member.
