Dr. Chance Corgan, DC, was born and raised in Plano, TX. He graduated from Texas A&M University, where he played baseball as a pitcher. In 2007, Dr. Corgan was selected in the 5th round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft to the San Francisco Giants organization. He played 3 years with the Giants organization before returning to school at Texas A&M to finish his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management/Business.
After graduating, Dr. Corgan decided to further his education and attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he graduated in 2016 with his master’s in occupational therapy. After completing his master’s, Dr. Corgan worked at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Plano, where he was an upper extremity specialist in outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehab, and lymphedema/wound care. Dr. Corgan was an occupational therapist for 2 years before pursuing chiropractic. In 2021, Dr. Corgan graduated from Parker University with his doctoral of chiropractic degree and achieved a master’s in Functional Nutrition at the same time.
Dr. Corgan worked at a family practice for a few years before joining the Curis team. When Dr. Corgan is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two little girls, Dakota and Cameron. They enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, going to the lake, barbeques, and Aggie football games.
