Client Focus:

I am the oldest of 6 children growing up with a Father who was a Chiropractor. I had always admired the success my Father had, not only in his business but mostly because of the many lives he touched over his 45 years in practice. His passion for helping people was truly my inspiration and what guided me toward continuing his legacy in assisting people back to health the same way he always had.

After graduating from Kansas State University with a Physical Science degree, I attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. After graduating in 1988 I joined my father in practice where for 3 years I gained valuable ‘on the job’ experience. I then relocated my practice to Shawnee in 1991 and practiced in the same space until 2007, when I realized a life-long dream and designed and built a new office building. I took great care in the design of our new space to create a relaxing, yet energetic healing environment with the latest state-of-the-art technology and treatment.

From the beginning my practice has primarily focused on the treatment of families and children seeking care for optimal health and wellness. In 1996, I furthered my education by taking extensive training in the treatment of sports injuries and I have enjoyed working with athletes of all kinds for specialized injury care and prevention. I also have been trained and certified in needle acupuncture and have utilized it in my practice over the last 30 plus years.

Having grown up in the Kansas City area I’m very familiar with the home-town environment that Shawnee and the surrounding cities have to offer the residents of our great community. I felt particularly familiar with the strong sense of community Shawnee has offered me over my many years of practice, which has only reinforced my commitment to positively impact the health of our local residents through a desire to deliver quality care honestly and with integrity.

I am married to my wife Michele and have 3 wonderful children. During my free time, you will see me spending time with my family and enjoying my children’s activities. I’m an avid outdoorsman and love a good game of golf.
