Kimberly is a License Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. Kimberly has been in private practice since graduating from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2018. Her interest in counseling began while working in the health care field while answering triage calls for a local medical practice. While working in triage, she discovered her enjoyment of talking to patients beyond the scope of their illness. Patients would call the triage line just to talk with her, and after being recognized for her excellence in service, she made the decision to return to school and pursue her master’s degree in counseling.

Kimberly specializes in working with couples to help them navigate issues with communication, boundaries, conflict resolution, trust and infidelity. Her therapy modalities include EFT (emotional focus therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and assignments to help couples apply the skills in real life they acquire while in therapy.
