Kimberly believes therapy begins with relationship. She meets each client and family where they are, creating a safe, supportive space to foster connection and growth. Her goal is to help clients strengthen relationships, develop coping strategies, and build healthier patterns.
With early training in PHP and IOP settings, Kimberly gained experience supporting children and adolescents with emotional regulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, impulsivity, trauma, ADHD/executive functioning, and autism. She continues this work with children, teens, and young adults.
Kimberly is passionate about helping families through transitions such as divorce, separation, and co-parenting. She also holds certification in perinatal mental health, offering support for infertility, miscarriage, infant loss, postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and other challenges during the perinatal period.
Since 2009, she has worked with couples in premarital and marriage counseling, using Prepare/Enrich and PACT to strengthen relationships and co-parenting partnerships. She is trained in EMDR, an effective approach for addressing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and negative thought patterns in both children and adults.
For clients who desire it, Kimberly also offers Christian counseling, thoughtfully integrating faith into the therapeutic process at the client’s comfort level.
