This is not your "give me $20, and go" place. This is legitimate healthcare establishment, that is individualized. They are specific on the specific care each individual needs. They are flexible and they are a welcoming establishment for anyone that comes through their door. I deeply appreciate my treatment plan and I am experiencing the benefits from it. I hope this helps anyone's skepticism. Just give it one last chance before you leave it be.
I was in a bad way when I threw my back out one evening a few weeks ago. The friendly folks at Curis fit me in the next morning to get an evaluation with x-rays and the next day Dr. Rickman had a plan for not just my back, but neck and shoulder also, which had been nagging injuries for a decade. I now am on a path to recovery with less pain and increased mobility in each of these areas.
Super friendly staff, a doctor that actually cares whether you get better or not, reasonably priced and a great location, seriously could you ask for better and if all that isn't enough they take some forms of Medicaid. I haven't been this hopeful in a long time and I was one of the people who didn't quite believe in chiropractic care.
Dr. Rickman listens and is attentive to the details. Always friendly and truly care about their patients. Highly recommend Dr. Rickman!
By far the best chiropractor and staff. Always friendly, clean facilities, and truly care about their patients. I would highly recommend them!
Dr Rickman is fantastic, and his staff is top 10, you will not be sorry going here for an adjustment or other things they offer.
All the staff including the Dr himself are wonderful. They know what they’re doing and they have great “bedside manners”. They will take great care of you.
These people are AMAZING! Literally the reason I'm walking and dragging my leg still. Friendly, quick, and professional. Go see them!
I can't say enough about Dr. Rickman and the staff. They are very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Rickman has the unique ability to be very efficient (very little wait time, I'm usually in and out within 15 minutes) but still make you feel like you are his only patient. Also, I love that I can walk in without an appointment any time I need to. As a chronic headache sufferer, it means a lot knowing I can get relief in between appointments if needed.
This was my first experience with a chiropractor, and was very nervous. All of the staff and Dr. Rickman were so kind and patient with me. They explained everything to me and were very supportive.
Dr. Rickman is the best chiro around!!
I called Dr. Dexter in an emergency on a Saturday just under and hour before he was supposed to close up. He got me in 20 minutes later and I left feeling better and able to stand up straight. He is professional and you can tell he really cares about his patients. I can’t say enough good things about him.
Dr.Rickman and his team are wonderful! He takes his time and thoroughly explains everything. I feel very comfortable and trust I'm in good hands. The team at the front are so kind and welcoming.
Extremely friendly service. Always greater with a smile! Very accommodating to my schedule
Because pain is the last symptom we experience from any injury or condition, it is important to seek chiropractic care even if you are not currently experiencing pain. Regular adjustments do more than keep you pain free; they help your mind and body to perform at their highest level.

Prior to your initial appointment, you will be asked to fill out an in-depth patient history. This is critical, as it helps the Functional Nutrition Practitioner get a complete picture of your health history. At your initial appointment, you and your practitioner will cover this health history and they will ask you additional questions regarding your health. After that appointment, your practitioner will determine what labs and diagnostic tests to order, to best determine what is contributing to your condition.
Once the results are received, you and your practitioner will meet again to review your labs and diagnostics. They will also determine and communicate a course of care to help you with your condition and symptoms. If there are no further questions for the practitioner regarding care, then the finances of the care that they outlined will be covered. We never want to “surprise” a patient with a bill, so we cover the financials upfront. We will also discuss the different payment options available.
Most conditions are seen, and addressed, over a 3-12 month program. The length of the program is determined by the type of condition, the complexity, and how long the patient has had the condition(s). There are some conditions that require periodic follow-ups beyond the 12-month time frame.
Appointment frequency is determined by the Functional Nutrition Practitioner. Obviously, each presenting condition will be taken into consideration. Typically patients will be seen more often initially (every 10-20 days) during the first 1-2 months. As patients begin to improve, visits are moved to monthly, and with more improvement, patients are seen every 1.5-3 months until the condition resolves.
