Mary Ann Hamm, known as Ann, was born in Beaumont, Texas, and spent her formative years traversing the landscapes of West Texas. After graduating from Monahans High School, she pursued her passion for nursing, specializing in labor and delivery. Alongside her professional endeavors, Ann cultivated a diverse range of hobbies including reading, hiking, and travel, the order of which she considered of little importance. Transitioning from distance running to walking, Ann remained committed to staying active. She also lent her voice to the New Song Community Choir and dedicated over two decades to corporate chair massage.
