Who are you are best positioned to serve?
I work best with people who have struggled for many years to regulate their emotions and are motivated for change. I am a solution focused person naturally and will work with my clients toward finding solutions to their biggest struggles in order to gain access to their life worth living. Therefore, I work best with those moitated to do the same.
What areas you feel are your biggest strengths?
Based on previous feedback provided, my biggest strengths as a therapist is my ability to engage in tough love that makes my clients feel as if they are safe, and not being judged, but are also being pushed to be the best versions of themselves. I am capable of finding the good in all and want to push my clients to do the same in themselves.
What's your favorite part about being a therapist?
As a therapist, my absolute favorite part is watching my clients grow in their confidence and feeling effective at managing life’s stressors. Once a client has started to practice their skills, they start to realize that bad things are not as hard to handle. The joy and pride they feel when the skills click and they start feeling capable, that is what keeps me doing what I do.
What can clients expect?
Clients can expect to take away concrete skills to practice that will help them build emotion regulation skills as well as feeling validated in a way that makes them feel more seen in their world than they may current feel.
