Jeannine Gambles is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples in high-stress situations. She serves individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders such as Bipolar Disorder. She is also able to work with individuals coping with identity, including the LGBTQ+ community. Jeannine can help those who suffer from trauma, including veterans. Additionally, she works with couples experiencing infidelity, feeling stuck, or those who want to uncouple healthily.
After teaching for 18 years and being deployed to Iraq during that time, Jeannine decided to switch gears in hopes that she could help others with the many transitions we encounter in our lives. She chose marriage and family therapy because of her belief that she can benefit individuals and couples who are part of systems that can be challenging, helping them to grow, renew, recharge, and restore.
Jeannine’s focus is to use therapeutic approaches that best suit the client where they are. She has experience working with individuals and couples who suffer from anxiety, depression, grief, identity issues, LGBTQ+ issues, mood disorders, sexual identity issues, trauma, women’s issues, relationship issues, and veterans with PTSD.
Her therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Jeannine is also EMDR-Trained for those who meet the criteria for receiving this treatment. For couples, She typically uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
