About

Hi, I’m Kim. I’m a compassionate, dedicated clinician providing counseling services in Missouri. I have experience working with individuals in nonprofit and hospital settings, where I’ve provided thoughtful, client-centered care tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Crisis Counseling from Liberty University, graduating summa cum laude, and completed my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling with distinction from Liberty University. I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Addictions and Substance Use Disorders at Regent University. My journey to becoming a mental health clinician was unconventional and greatly influenced by childhood and life experiences. I can honestly say that I did not choose counseling; it chose me, and it was divinely inspired. I am eternally grateful that I accepted the call.
Who are you are best positioned to serve?
I work with females within the lifespan of ten through end of life (whatever and whenever that may be) who are seeking a supportive, values-informed space to process anxiety, trauma, life transitions, faith-related concerns, or personal growth at a pace that feels right for them.
What areas you feel are your biggest strengths?
I believe my biggest strengths lie in being spiritually grounded, having my family as my support system, my warm, relational presence, trauma-focused orientation, faith integration, and values-sensitive care for clients. I also have a client-centered, individualized approach, a strong academic and research foundation, and experience across clinical and non-clinical settings.
What's your favorite part about being a therapist?
My favorite part of being a therapist is creating a space where people feel genuinely safe, seen, and supported—often for the first time. I value walking alongside clients as they make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their values and faith when desired, and move toward healing at a pace that feels respectful and empowering. The relational aspect of therapy—building trust, offering steadiness, and witnessing growth- is integral to why I do this work.
What can clients expect?
I believe healing happens in a space where people feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on building trust and emotional safety. When the client desires, I offer faith-integrated counseling that is Christ-centered and grounded in compassion, grace, and respect, while honoring each client’s values, beliefs, and autonomy. My goal is to walk alongside you with care and intentionality as you work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
