About

I became a therapist because I know firsthand how scary it feels when your child is struggling and you’re not sure how to help. I dedicate my work to teens who often feel misunderstood, shut down, or overwhelmed, and to parents who want to see their kids happier and more connected. I create a safe, judgment-free space where teens can open up, practice new coping skills, and build confidence. I also partner with parents, offering guidance and tools to make home life less stressful and more supportive. My style is down-to-earth and real—I combine evidence-based approaches, such as TF-CBT and DBT, with humor, creativity, and a lot of heart. Because I’ve been both the professional and the parent in the room, families tell me I “get it” in a way that feels different. At the core, my mission is to walk alongside families so they don’t feel alone on the path toward healing and hope.

What areas you feel are your biggest strengths?
During any given session, I give my clients the experience of active listening, critical thinking skills, and innovative planning to help them design ways to improve their lives.
What's your favorite part about being a therapist?
Empowering individuals to live the best life they were born to live.
What can clients expect?
Clients of all ages will take away that failure is not final and that growth and learning is possible at each turn.
Why did you join Curis?
Curis treats patients from a holistic standpoint. I firmly believe the body, mind, and soul are intertwined and connected. Finding a practice that embodied the same belief was extremely important to my professional goals.
