About

Hello, I’m Daffney Tchassem, LCSW.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the journey. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, valued, and supported from our very first conversation.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of clinical experience, I provide counseling services for individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan—from children and adolescents to adults and older adults. I believe that every person’s story is unique, which is why I use an individualized approach to therapy that is tailored to your specific needs, strengths, and goals.

Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other therapeutic approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to help them gain insight, develop coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.

Throughout my career, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress management, addiction, behavioral issues, ADHD, autism spectrum support, bipolar disorder, PTSD, perinatal mental health, anger management, OCD, eating disorders, chronic medical conditions, and more. I am passionate about meeting people where they are and helping them discover their resilience, even during life’s most difficult seasons.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe enough to explore challenges, celebrate progress, and embrace growth. Together, we will work toward helping you build the tools and confidence needed to navigate life’s obstacles and create a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Beyond my professional experience, I understand the complexities of life through my own roles as a wife, mother, sibling, and friend. These experiences allow me to bring not only clinical expertise but also genuine empathy and understanding to the counseling process.

Whether you are seeking support for a specific challenge or simply looking for guidance during a difficult time, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and wellness.

You do not have to face life’s challenges alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to help.
