About

In the hustle and bustle of life, it’s easy to try to put off our problems for a “better time.” I’m here to encourage you that the time is now. I see most issues as a bump in the road. If the issue isn’t dealt with, it’ll just keep coming back. Let me help you get over that bump in the road of life. By taking a client-centered approach, meaning you’re steering the car in this example, I can help get you back on track. I believe you hold the answers to your issues and I’m just here to help you discover them.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated from Texas A&M University Commerce. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience with all age groups, but mostly adolescents and young adults. I am committed to helping clients with depression, anxiety, self harm, and adjustment issues.

What areas you feel are your biggest strengths?
My biggest strengths are accepting clients where they are, as well as my ability to encourage them while also holding them accountable.
What's your favorite part about being a therapist?
I love empowering people to take control of their situations and improve their lives. Sometimes people just hit a bump in the road and need help getting back on track.
What can clients expect?
Clients can expect feeling like they can overcome whatever obstacle they are facing.
Why did you join Curis?
I love the idea of the whole mind and body experience.
