Courtney Dillon is a Licensed Professional Counselor who offers a variety of therapeutic interventions for children (age 3 and up), adolescents, young adults, parents, and individual adults. Courtney views every person holistically and utilizes an integrative approach specific to her client’s needs.

She will diligently work to reach each child on their developmental level.  Courtney believes no child is the same and deserves to be supported in their own unique way.  At the request of her clients, Courtney has collaborated with other professionals to create team support and is often asked to advocate for her clients in the school systems.  She believes a counselor should be a trusted partner. Courtney’s goal is to assist individuals in developing healthy and fulfilling lives.

As a counselor who is EMDR trained through EMDRIA, Courtney works to empower individuals to heal from past trauma and learn to thrive. Courtney believes early attachments and big/little traumas are key in shaping our lives.  Healing gives opportunity to develop our resilience. Courtney assists her clients in conceptualizing and working through unprocessed trauma by creating a safe and accepting environment. Courtney resides in Frisco, TX, with her husband and son. Courtney graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with her MS in Counseling/Psychology and has accumulated years of counseling experience since 2016.  Courtney has completed play therapy courses from UNT and APT play therapy training.
