Trisha Murphy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience in the medical and mental health fields.  Passionate about mental health wellness, counseling, and healthy lifestyle practices, Trisha combines an integrative and holistic approach to treat the whole person across their lifespan.

She is a firm believer that everyone is capable of being the best version of themselves when equipped with the right tools, strategies, and resources.

Her focus includes a wide range of treatment areas, including: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress management, 
inter-personal relationship issues, grief/loss,  coping with injury/ pain/ complex medical problems, trauma, weightloss, athlete performance,  life role transitions, memory and age decline, personality disorders, adult ADD, substance use, and psychosis.
 
Trisha’s experience as part of the heart transplant team, at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, coupled with her time serving kidney transplant patients in Fort Worth has allowed her to understand the complex dynamics involved with navigating health care, managing health problems, and the toll it can take on one’s quality of life. Her extensive work with in/outpatient medical and mental health facilities has also allowed her to assist countless patients struggling to cope with grief/loss of both chronic medical and mental health conditions.
 
Trisha also brings multiple years of experience from her time spent in the therapeutic foster care field, 4th Street Parent and Child Learning Center, as well as Family and Protective Services.

Trisha is a strong advocate for an active lifestyle and believes exercise benefits not only the body, but the brain. In addition to her role as an LCSW, she serves as a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer and nutritional coach.
She is caring, friendly, and encouraging,  and believes a good sense of humor is an effective coping strategy.  She says, ” we should all laugh, and laugh often.”

In her down time, Trisha enjoys exercise, listening to music, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and twins.
