As a Front Desk Receptionist and Chiropractic Assistant, you are the face of the organization. We seek people with a pleasant demeanor, excellent customer service skills, a good attitude, and skilled in handling a wide array of duties and competing priorities. The ability to communicate, work with computer software, stand for long periods of time, handle patient education, assist with physical modalities, and pay attention to detail is required. X-ray skills are a plus. Due to the nature of working in healthcare, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients on arrival and handle check-in and check-out functions.
  • Collect necessary new patients or updated health forms from patients.
  • Answer phones.
  • Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up on missed appointments.
  • Handle insurance verification and follow up on claim submittals if needed.
  • Collect payments and follow up on aged receivables and declined payments.
  • Prepare for the day’s appointments.
  • Assist in scheduling other services that may be recommended as part of the treatment plan.
  • Run balanced daily, weekly, and biweekly reports as required.
  • Administering modalities and treatments as outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Educate patients on the proper way to complete exercises and use equipment.
  • Attend required daily/weekly meetings.
  • Complete compliance training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.     
  • Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.    
  • Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.    
  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.     
  • Vetting practitioners for culture and operational fit   
  • Assessing applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.

Rehab Specialist

Rehab Specialist Job Description: Top Duties and Qualifications:

 Rehab specialist care for patients with health problems of the neuromusculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. A background in anatomy and physiology is helpful but can also be taught.  They use a number of modalities including spinal decompression, ultrasound, taping, as well as other treatment protocols, to treat and manage a wide array of health concerns. This role is in a multi-disciplinary holistic mind-body-spirit environment with other nutrition, mental health and weight loss clinicians.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Rehab Specialist work closely with patients and have a variety of duties and responsibilities to perform, including: 

  • Consulting with the patient about their current conditions and treatments

Due to the nature of working in healthcare, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality are critical. Your responsibilities will also include client reception, scheduling, billing, therapy assistance, and general administration. Mastery of Microsoft Office, emails, web presence, and attention to detail are a must.
