Kristen is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual therapy to young adults and adults struggling with depression and anxiety. She also work with individuals that have experienced trauma, grief/loss, suicidal ideation, and navigating relationship troubles. Kristen comes from a person-centered and holistic approach to therapy. Her belief is that clients are experts on themselves and that therapy should be a collaborative experience. Modalities I use in the therapy room include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It can be tough to take that first step to getting to therapy.
