Rhonda Evans is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She has been working in education and mental health as a counselor and crisis interventionist in schools for the past 18 years. She has a very strong background working with educators, children, and parents addressing behavioral, emotional, social, and school-related concerns. She also has a significant background in domestic violence and has a passion for working with clients who have experienced that in their lives.
Rhonda believes we all have a story to tell and everyone’s story deserves to be heard. By building relationships and developing trust, she meets the clients where they are in their life journey and helps to empower them to take steps towards changes that will create a path to overall positive functioning.
Rhonda has experience working with clients confronting anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, anger management, and trauma. She has developed a style of working with clients that combines Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Systems Theory, Positive Psychology and Trauma Based Therapy to uncover patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting that negatively impact success.
Rhonda’s goal is to find useful tools to put into your toolbox in order to equip you to face daily challenges and overcome obstacles that have you stuck.
