Suzanne focuses her work on adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma. She specializes in using EMDR and utilizes it along with emotional regulation skills to help bring her clients to a place of healing. She understands how mental health can affect all areas of life and works to help clients identify their goals and uses those goals to guide treatment.

Suzanne believes that our brains want to work towards health and wellness, and that as we resolve past nervous system overwhelm and trauma that the brain will then move towards healing. The process of EMDR allows her clients to be able to desensitize troubling past events and memories, and the client emerges from this experience with a new positive belief and narrative about self. Many clients report feeling stronger and more empowered through the process.

Suzanne is EMDR trained by CompassionWorks, a program approved by the EMDR International Association. She has also completed additional trainings in using EMDR to treat anxiety, OCD, depression, complex trauma, and early childhood trauma and wounding. Suzanne has experience in working in multiple areas of mental health including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intake assessments and individual counseling.
