Shannon Purtell has created a group designed to help those with problematic anger develop the skills to not only cope with their anger, but grow from it. This group is a 12 week on-going program that aims to pin-point each clients trigger points and anger struggles and address them head on. Each week we cover a different chapter with topics ranging from communication styles, problem solving, implementing change, escalation of anger, and so on. When you have completed the 12 week course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
Our Anger Management group meets each week on Monday evenings at 6pm and is run by a licensed professional counselor (Alex Wade, MS, LPC-Intern – supervised by Delisa Deutsch, MS, LPC-S). Clients also have to opportunity to complete this course one-on-one as well, which offers more flexibility and quicker completion times.
This group course is open to anyone ages 18 and up, and is also recognized by the court systems in multiple surrounding counties.
The cost per session of the group is $45
The cost per individual session is $75

Starts August 17 (8 weeks)
– Teen girls ranging from ages 11 to 14 years old
– A ten week open groups exploring different topics each week, ranging from anxiety, coping skills, self-esteem, feelings of sadness or loneliness, how to effectively communicate needs, and goal setting skills.
As a young teenage girl, you are going through a lot of changes. New friend, new schools, family changes, and body changes are enough to send anyone into stress about what is happening to them. Many teenagers are unaware that there are ways to help them manage all of the thoughts and feelings they are experiencing during this turbulence. In “Talk About It” we will learn new ways to talk about feelings and how to communicate and express in an appropriate and non-destructive way.
A group setting is a safe and therapeutic environment in which to process thoughts and feelings. In this low risk space, teens will be able to learn and practice their new skills without fear of judgement as everyone is learning together.
After adding a new baby to your family, challenges such as: anxiety, depression, guilt, and loneliness can arise. Being with other moms who are experiencing the same feelings can be helpful and supportive. In a safe and supportive atmosphere, you can work through some of those challenges while learning effective coping skills and gaining the support of other moms as you adjust to this chapter in your life.
The group is on Tuesday’s at 10 AM
$30 per session
Intake needs to be done prior to first session to ensure that each member is appropriate for the group.

Description: Having pride goes beyond parades and protests. Pride is about cultivating and experiencing self-love, self-care, and self-respect for your whole person. Pride is being acknowledged and understood by others who share your identities and experiences. And pride is finding comfort in your own skin, and feeling relief from the pressures to fit in or blend in. Join together with other unique individuals to cultivate and acknowledge your strengths, harness your resilience, celebrate your identity, discover your self-worth, and find balance in honoring your authentic self and considering others.
Details: Beginning on August 6, this celebration of self and others will meet weekly on Thursdays from 7pm-8pm for eight consecutive weeks (August 6 through September 24). Group is open and welcoming new members throughout, though joining from the beginning is encouraged.
Each session costs $30 each or single payment of $210 for all eight (a savings of $30 or a free session!). A 30-minute screening intake is required prior to attending, and included in the cost, to ensure that each member is appropriate for the group.
